I've not belonged to AHN for years, but I had to call about medical history recently, and the staff was very relaxed and courteous while helping me. When I couldn't find what I needed, the lady who helped me was very open, explaining things and giving me a recommendation.
Only gave a 1 star cause there is no option for a 0 star. I do not like my dr. She always tells me that im lying to her even tho i have proof of all my medical issues. She has a bad attitude. I have to argue just to get medications refilled. So far she has gone against 2 other drs requests. The worst dr possible. Going to change drs soon as i can.
That being said, I LOVED Dr. Witt and his nurse, Jill! I really hate going to doctors, normally. Nothing personal about the people that have seen me over the years, I just hate being so...exposed?? These two were very laid back, but also attentive. Dr. Witt asked if I had any concerns or anything, and saw me hesitate as I searched for my phone which had a list of things I wanted to discuss - he was eager to hand me my phone and let me cover all the items on my list. Also, there is an issue I have that I guess the nurse had never seen before, or at least, didn't know the treatment for, and the Doctor explained about the condition and treatment to both of us at the same time. I thought that was very insightful and it was great seeing that he treated his nurse with respect and wasn't patronizing in the least (to either of us).
How far you've fallen: cannot reach my doctor; cannot reach her nurse. August appointment and assurance my account is paid in full: now an impersonal email indicated that I owe you from 2016. When do you pitch the last straw? NOW.
The receptionists were all friendly except at the lab - barely received a grunt from that one. But everyone has an off day.
I had to wait two weeks to be accepted as a new patient, at which point I was finally allowed to make an appointment to see the doctor. I suffered with an infection for that whole time. The automated system is also kind of annoying.
I had a doctor who didn't listen to me...I was in horrible pain for months on in and when I asked if it could be my gull balder ? She said no , so she ran dumb test that I didn't need... Well after four months of pain and missed time from work ( and a couple ER visits ) , she odder a ultra sound, and wouldn't you know it I had gull stones so bad my gull balder was ready to bust ... So after finding out i was upset because well , all the time and pain that could been avoided if my doctor would have listened to me...I mean isn't it their job? Isn't part of being a doctor is to listen to the patient when they say this a part of my body hurts?? So when I went to see her( Doctor Wadhwa) she said well it seems you have gull stones. My response was I asked f***ing months ago if it could be the problem and you said no, and I been in a lot of pain because you don't know how to listen to your F***ing patients. Of course my husband accompanies me to every visit and she tried to twist her words and even went far as to LIE , my husband and I was baffled and shocked . Shortly I received a letter saying she no longer come be my doctor. No hurt feelings there also my husband and put in for the newest doctor there ( can't blame him for wanting a different doctor) , I was blacked balled from that whole office just because I dropped the F word and refused to let my husband change doctors. Please if you can help it don't have Doctor Wadhwa as your or family member doctor
