Our visit was great. Even on black Friday the service was great. We were told our wait would be 25 minutes and only waited for about 15 total. Our server was very nice and kept up with our drink refills. The biscuit french toast was great, just could have used more fruit topping. Thanks for a nice meal!
I love Cracker Barrel food. I also love their sales in the store area. The staff is pleasant, however there has been times the waitress is too busy to wait on us for talking to her boyfriend. My mom and I said she is too busy talking to that man to wait on us. The response was he is her boyfriend and he use to be the manager there. It is important not to mix business with personal. We did not leave a very good tip.
Very quick service today. Fire going in the fireplace made for a cozy atmosphere in all this rain. Food was great as expected.
Breakfast was just okay here. Biscuits tasted like salty dough. Sausage tasted funny. Eggs had a hair. On a positive note, service was fast and friendly.
The cracker barrel I went to. Took forever to get my food. Then when they did bring it. It was burnt turkey, scorched gravy. The biscuit was the only good thing. And I had ask for jelly, never did get it. The place was packed and I saw the waitresses standing around the kitchen door goofing with the cook. The gift and souvenir section was great, a little pricey on some things.
