This a great bar period. Excellent drinks, very personable service. The live music was very good, and the relaxed but with the right-amount-of-energy atmosphere was very refreshing. Great downtown space with a convivial crowd. This is a modern, gentrified and "hipster" bar in the absolute, best possible sense. This bar is not overly pretentious (a little pretense never hurt anyone), and very down to earth. I know the owner personally through family friends, and this was my first time at the coterie and I will definitely be back.
Met a friend from out of town there. He said it reminded him of Austin.
I was pleasantly surprised, rich comfortable atmosphere and not as condescending as I expected for this type of establishment. The drinks were very good
